These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Rabbit Hole of the Day (“RHOTD”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including the RHOTD mobile application and related websites (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Entertainment and educational exploration only
RHOTD provides topics, commentary, and links intended for entertainment and general educational exploration. RHOTD content may include controversial or speculative ideas. You are responsible for how you interpret and use any information you encounter through the Service.
RHOTD does not provide medical, legal, financial, safety, or professional advice. Do not use the Service as a substitute for professional advice. If you need help in any of those areas, consult a qualified professional.
External links and third party content
The Service includes links to third party websites, articles, videos, and other materials. We do not control and are not responsible for third party content, availability, accuracy, or policies. Accessing third party content is at your own risk.
User suggestions and moderation
The Service may allow you to suggest topics or links. Suggestions are not automatically published. We may review, edit, accept, reject, or remove suggestions for any reason, including to enforce these Terms, comply with law, or maintain quality and safety.
You agree not to submit suggestions that:
Contain illegal content or facilitate illegal activity
Contain hate, harassment, threats, or personal attacks
Contain private personal information of others
Contain malware, phishing, or deceptive content
Promote violence or self harm
Are primarily spam or advertising
Subscriptions and premium access
RHOTD may offer a free tier and optional paid subscriptions that unlock premium features such as a full archive, search, and tag filters.
Billing and renewals
Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, subject to the rules of the App Store or Google Play. Pricing and available plans are shown at purchase.
Managing and canceling
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Restores
If available, you can restore purchases within the app. Restores are handled through Apple or Google.
Free trials and promotional pricing
If a free trial or promotion is offered, it may convert to a paid subscription automatically unless canceled before the trial ends.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We do not control refund decisions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Use the Service in a way that violates any law or regulation
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Scrape, copy, or republish the Service’s content at scale without permission
Circumvent or attempt to bypass premium access controls
Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, branding, and original content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or with our permission.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RHOTD and its owners, operators, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
If liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we must do so to comply with law or protect the Service.
Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice.
